Make way for jazz! The annual Danish jazz meeting is back. A first concert that will make noise!
Concert organized in partnership with Ficep, TSF JAZZ and the Jazzycolors Festival which takes place from November 3 to December 3.
Singer, songwriter, producer, Astrid Engberg is influenced by a myriad of genres, including jazz, soul, hip-hop and classical music.
After various collaborations in Denmark, she became a member of the Swiss / Canadian group "Berry Weight" with whom she performed at the Olympia in 2008 as the first part of Wax Tailor and thus met Mattic and La Fine Equipe with whom she also collaborates now.
Born in 1986 in Denmark, she began singing and playing various instruments at the age of 15, influenced by jazz and world music.
Astrid draws soundscapes that are both steeped in her Scandinavian roots with kaleidoscopic hues from her many travels, drawing inspiration in equal parts from daily life, people, sights and sounds.
In recent years she has performed live or as a DJ at SPOT Festival, Heartland Festival, STRØM Festival, Danish Music Awards Jazz, P8Jazz Alive, DR Koncerthuset, Vega, Radar, Fritz Hansen, SMK - La Galerie Nationale du Denmark - etc
Astrid is a guest DJ on Danish national radio DR P8Jazz and a former host and DJ on MMH Radio (DK) and Balamii Radio (UK)
